Abstract
A . gambae and A. funestus tend to leave lightly treated buildings, but a mortality of possibly 100% is obtained for periods of 5-6 months if the treatment with DDT reaches an original conc. of 200 mg./sq. ft. The presence of lime on the walls of buildings tends to shorten the lasting effects materially and should be taken into consideration when plans of treatment are being laid out. Keywords
