Abstract
Soluble antigens were obtained from C. albicans cultures of different ages treated with hypertonic 3M KCl. The antigens reacted against anti-Candida immune sera in a double diffusion agar test and after adsorption of immune serum on Candida cells. EM revealed a marked reduction in the outer layers of 3M KCl extracted cells.
