Abstract
High-spin states in the fast rotating nuclei are investigated. At first, an exact matrix diagonalization of Nilsson and the Coriolis force Hamiltonian is done for high values of the angular velocity . The weak pairing correlation in the rotating frame is taken into account using a perturbation method and employing the newly obtained basis function after matrix diagonalization. Numerical calculations are performed for Pd isotopes and the possibility of gapless excitations in some cases is discussed.
