Abstract
The enhancement of the neon radiation of the transition 3p1(1/2)0-3s1(1/2)10 corresponding to the wavelength 585.25 nm is observed as hydrogen is added to the Penning mixtures Ne+1%Ar and Ne+1%Xe in a 5 kHz radiofrequency discharge. The enhancement is much higher in the case of a Ne-H2 mixture. The results suggest the possibility of increasing the output of the neon-hydrogen pulsed laser at 585.25 nm.Keywords
