Abstract
Introduction One of the first major tasks of the Division of National Mapping is to make a large contribution towards the overall target of the completion of a planimetric map coverage of Australia's 3,000,000 square miles at 1: 250,000 scale. It is anticipated this first series of maps of Australia, compiled entirely from air photography, will be completed and available to users by the end of 1965.Keywords
