Abstract
Partial-wave analysis of at 1820-2090 MeV c.m. energy shows that this reaction is dominated by the resonance decaying to with -channel helicity . The analysis also gives evidence for via wave. The coupling of to helicity- states, and the unexpected dominance of - over -wave decay for , can both be interpreted as arising from the constraints of channel duality.
