Abstract
Acute and chronic inflammation were produced in the paws of normal and of adrenalectomized rats by the injection of yeast, egg white, or kaolin. Swelling was measured linearly and volumetrically. Trypsin exerted an antiphlogistic effect on the acute stage of inflammation in both normal and adrenalectomized rats. Keywords
