Abstract
Thick films of superconductive BiSrCaCu2O x were prepared by rapid quenching without any substrate. The as-quenched film was amorphous-like and not superconductive, but after heat treatment at 850–880°C, it showed superconductivity with a zero-resistance temperature of 60 K and a critical current of 220 A/cm2 at 4.2 K.Keywords
