Abstract
Culture filtrates, their extracts and mycelium extracts of actinomycetes strains are analyzed by HPLC and diode-array detection. Comparing retention times and UV-visible spectra with data from known antibiotics and other metabolites stored in natural substance class libraries in a data base permit an effective screening for new secondary metabolites. Keywords
