Abstract
Grams, Ralph R., Johnson, Eugene A., and Benson, Ellis S.: Laboratory data analysis system: Section II—Analytic error limits. Am. J. Clin. Pathol. 58: 182–187, 1972. A technic using analytic error limits which is able to decrease the usual population range of normal values is described. The process originates from a study of human within-day and between-day variability and applies the appropriate data to a comparison of subject results. The process indicates individual variability and requires at least two patient samples for calculation. The determination is used as an initial screening process for a Laboratory Data Analysis System. Keywords
