Abstract
Double-tuned amplifier stages have a greater gain-bandwidth factor than single-tuned stages, and by stagger-tuning the double-tuned stages the gain-bandwidth factor is better preserved as stages are cascaded than if identical stages were used. This paper presents the results of a study which has yielded accurate design curves for the wide-band case permitting straightforward synthesis of maximally-flat.staggered pairs and triples. The theory leading to the design curves is described in the Appendix. Keywords
