Abstract
In this paper, we use a theoretical model that makes it possible to calculate the error with which the information contained in a light beam with a periodically modulated intensity is obtained when using a multichannel signal analyzer. The model is applied to level crossing spectroscopy, and the errors in determining the crossing point and signal width are compared with those obtained using the n(2)(T) measurement method. Keywords
