Abstract
Many [N II] line profiles have been obtained from the H II region IC 1795 (W3), and splitting of more than 50 km s–1 has been found over a large area on the edge of the nebula. An [N II] radial velocity map is presented, and compared with the corresponding radio recombination and molecular velocities. Broadening of [N II] profiles has also been discovered in the vicinity of the molecular cloud in the H II region NGC 2264.Keywords
