Abstract
The over-all frequency response and loss of the transducers of a delay line are derived from Roth's equivalent circuit. The transient response of a delay line is computed from an equivalent transmission-line circuit. The bandwidths and transient responses measured on practical delay lines are given for comparison with theoretical values. Keywords
