Abstract
In the lower GeO2 content region, fabrication of GeO2-doped silica glasses by sol-get method was investigated with emphasis on the influence of GeO2 crystal generation. The generation of GeO2 crystal depends on the ammonia water content in the sol solution. The conversion efficiency of Ge alkoxide is related to the content of GeO2 crystals. Keywords
