Abstract
In the presence of a catalytic amount of a diphosphonium salt, the reaction of various imines, including 2-[N-(diphenylmethyl)formimidoyl]-pyridine, with ketene silyl acetals proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding β-aminoesters in good yields.Keywords
