Abstract
Raman and Brillouin scattering studies have been performed on KLiSO4 single crystals. At room temperature our results well agree with the previously proposed structure (P63-phase I). Between T 1≈250–265 K and T 2≈190–200 K, the spectra are consistent with the simultaneous occurrence of two phases (I and II). Below T 2 a single phase is obtained (phase III). For phases II and III, a conventional analysis of the Raman selection rules does not lead to crystallographic structures already reported in the literature. Keywords
