Abstract
Ratios between the amt. of wt. lost per hr. during relaxation and the loss during finger oscillation were calculated in 10 normal, healthy subjects to indicate changes in efficiency of work at various hours following the intake of large and small meals. A decrease in efficiency toward late afternoon is indicated, the increased cost of work being more marked in the case of the heavy lunch. Changes in efficiency, as measured by the ratio of loss during finger oscillation to that during relaxation, correlate with subjective impressions of performance. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
