Abstract
All-optical switching is demonstrated using a nonlinear loop mirror containing a low loss As2S3 based fibre module. The gate power is reduced to as little as 0.4 W(peak) using a 4 m long As2S3 fibre. Demultiplexing of a 40 GHz pulse train to 4 GHz is demonstrated. Keywords
