Abstract

Extract A certain amount of confusion appears to exist as to methods of examination of bovine herd infertility problems in dairy herds in which the mating season is restricted, usually to the September–December period. The following principles which have been found to be reasonably satisfactory in field investigations from Ruakura are offered in the hope that they might be of value in finding the causes.
