Abstract
The oxidation of CO on a Pd supported catalyst was investigated in a differential reactor. The catalyst consisted of a homogeneous distribution of Pd crystallites (∅ =8 - 10 nm) within a zeolite matrix (Faujasite type X). Depending on the temperature of the reactor and the CO con-centration in the feed gas bistable, periodic and chaotic behaviour of the temperature of the catalyst bed could be observed.
