Abstract
Treatment with cortisone can both prevent and abolish the increased excretion of urinary histamine in hyperthyroid rats. The close parallelism between the amount of non-radioactive and of [C14]-labelled histamine in the same urinary sample after a subcutaneous injection of [C14]-histidine suggests that the formation of histamine is the changing principle. Keywords
