Abstract
The effect of heparin [a possible antineoplastic drug] on the growth of 4 cell types cultivated in vitro was investigated. Heparin appeared to have some growth promoting effects on [human] prepuce cells, while it showed little effect on the growth of [mouse] Novikoff hepatoma, monkey kidney [MK-2] and baby hamster [BHK-21] kidney cells. Heparin reversed the inhibitory effect of prednisolone-21-sodium-succinate on the growth of prepuce and baby hamster kidney cells. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
