Abstract
A direct relationship between a putative Reye's syndrome "serum factor" and generalized mitochondrial damage has been demonstrated in vitro. The clinical features of Reye's syndrome may be secondary to disrupted mitochondrial structure and a consequent impairment of energy-linked functions involving many organs. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
