Treatment of Osteo-Arthritis of the Knees

Abstract
Short-wave diathermy gave significantly better results in patients with osteoarthritis of the knees than placebo tablets, and placebo injections also were more effective than placebo tablets (significant at the 5% level). Physiological saline is as beneficial as hydrocortisone or its analogues.Keywords
