Abstract
Seven micronized fluorescent dusts were tested for their effect on viability of D. simulans males and for their persistence in time. No single dust, nor any tested combination of dusts, lowered viability significantly. Except for one, all single dusts were still easily detectable after 28 days. Some combinations of dusts produced fluorescences which were distinctively different from any produced by single dusts. Keywords
