Abstract
A 47 yr old man with albinism, nystagmus, alternating divergent strabismus and hyperopic astigmatism also had an orbital myxoid liposarcoma which was surgically removed in May, 1973 but recurred in Aug., 1974. The tumor contained proliferating lipoblasts in all stages of maturation, a plexiform capillary vascularization pattern and a myxoid base substance rich in acid mucopolysaccharides. Data on the epidemiology, localization, histogenesis and therapy of this type of tumor are reviewed. Keywords
