Abstract
A new setup is described which permits time-of-flight neutron diffraction spectra to be obtained on powder samples up to 15 GPa. Full structure refinements by the Rietveld procedures are shown to be possible. Other applications of this apparatus to single crystal or liquid samples are proposed and the extension to higher pressures is discussed. Keywords
