Abstract
Release of catechol amines from the chromaffin granules of the bovine suprarenal medulla has been studied. Aliphatic monoamines and diamines released catechol amines from chromaffin granules under conditions similar to those under which they are known to promote the release of histamine from suspensions of granules. Carbachol and histamine did not release catechol amines from granules. Keywords
