Abstract
In a consecutive series of 28 patients with various gastro-intestinal disorders, a close relationship was shown between the secretion of hydrochloric acid, of intrinsic factor, and of the uropepsinogen excretion. The study suggests a possible close correlation between gastric acid production and the genetically determined ABH blood group secretor status. Keywords
