Abstract
The increase in liver tryptophan peroxidase produced in adrenalectomized rats by injection of cortisone or hydrocortisone was no greater in animals exposed to 600 r X-irradiation than in unexposed animals. Thus, on the basis of this system, there is no evidence for an increased efficiency of utilization of glucosteroids in irradiated animals. Keywords
