Abstract
A general theory of electron correlation which is applicable to systems with aperiodic structure as well as periodic systems is developed. The method employed is the generalization of the method of the Bose second quantization for the electron-hole pair. Nonperturbational expressions for the London energy and the intermolecular potential are derived. The formulas to take the effect of electron correlation into the interaction of electrons with the electromagnetic field are derived.Keywords
