Abstract
Previous work on the adsorption of gelatin from solution onto the surface of suspended solids is reviewed in the light of recent theoretical and practical investigations on the adsorption of synthetic high polymers. The sensitization and protection of gold sols, and the mechanism of flocculation of suspensions with gelatin is discussed. Keywords
