Abstract
Paleomagnetic analysis of two cores taken of the Late Quaternary sequence of the Goderich Basin, Lake Huron, resulted in high resolution declination, inclination, intensity of magnetization (J), magnetic susceptibility (k), and Q-ratio (J/k) curves. There was a consistent, relative relationship of the features along the curves of all five parameters for both cores studied, which confirms the reproducibility of the method and suggests that paleomagnetic curves can be used for time-parallel correlation of the Late Quaternary sequence of the Goderich Basin.
