Abstract
A formulation of the theory neutral vector meson interacting with spinor field is given in analogy with the gauge invariant theory of quantum electrodynamics, recently proposed by Mandelstam. It is then shown that the two theories coalesce in the limit of vector meson mass tending to zero. Keywords
