Abstract
A preliminary report is given of a new method for localised pH determination on the gastric wall itself. During the gastroscopic examination, various indicator solutions were injected through the channel for air insufflation in the gastroscope. Thus the gastric wall was coloured according to the pH on the gastric mucosa. Particularly attention was concentrated on the pH values of areas where a pathological process had been found. Keywords
