Abstract
A plastic and stainless steel screw clamp which extends from the pulmonary artery to the subcutaneous region of the chest is described. The device is designed to move with the heart as it beats and the plastic constricting band is sleeved with Ivalon to avoid erosion. The tightening screw, which is sleeved with rubber to prevent pneumothorax, permits a closely graded and precise constriction of the pulmonary artery. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
