A mixed Atlantic–Pacific province Middle Ordovician graptolite fauna in western Newfoundland

Abstract
A recently excavated quarry in the middle Table Head Formation (Middle Ordovician) on the Port-au-Port Peninsula, western Newfoundland, has provided a rich and varied fauna of graptolites associated with trilobites, inarticulate brachiopods, and crustacean remains. The graptolite fauna includes Atlantic province species in an otherwise characteristically Pacific assemblage, thereby enabling the correlation of provincially distinct zonal classifications.
