Abstract
Brachymeria intermedia (Nees) was recently (Leonard 1966) found established in the gypsy moth, Porthetria dispar (L.), in North America. It is a native of the Palaearctic regions (Howard and Fiske 1911) and apparently thrives best in the warmer Mediterranean countries. The failure of earlier introductions of B. intermedia to establish (Burgess and Crossman 1929) was ascribed to the cold New England winter by Dowden (1935).Keywords
