Abstract
The hypothesis that schizophrenic females should produce fantasies that are similar to those of dying females, as has been suggested by McClelland, was not supported. Further, schizophrenics did not differ from non-schizophrenics in their concern with death as assessed from the stories they gave to TAT cards. Keywords
