Abstract
The possibilities and advantages of infrared spectrophotometry as an analytical tool for investigations of corticosteroids were reviewed with special reference concerning the use of infrared microscope. The new potassium bromide powder technique as well as a convenient method of depositing small amounts of substance on NaCl plates was described. With these new techniques, it is now possible to obtain spectrograms from as little as 10 ug of steroid. Keywords
