Abstract
Analytical solutions are derived for the propagation of off-axis polynomial-Gaussian beams in tapered quadratic-index lenslike media. These solutions are presented in the standard ABCD beam matrix form. Several realistic taper functions can be analyzed exactly, and for others a WKB approximate matrix is described. Keywords
