Hemangioendothelioma presenting as posterior mediastinal mass in a child

Abstract
A case of a five-month-old child who had a posterior mediastinal mass that was found to be a benign hemangioendothelioma is reported. This is the first reported case of this tumor in this location. Benign hemangioendothelioma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of posterior mediastinal mass in children.
