Abstract
The theoretical, economic, aesthetic, social, political, and religious value orientations of individuals varying on a personality dimension of stimulation or sensation-seeking were studied. 40 college students were given the Allport-Vernon-Lindzey Study of Values and the Sensation-seeking Scale. “Sensation-seekers” tended to place importance on aesthetic values and deemphasized economic values, but no significant relationship of sensation-seeking to theoretical, social, political, and religious values was indicatedKeywords
