Abstract
Most recent cases of staphylococcal osteomyelitis seen at Mulago Hospital, Kampala, have been due to penicillin-resistant organisms. Six severely ill patients—four with multiple bone lesions—were treated with trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole; the response was prompt and satisfactory in all cases.Keywords
