Abstract
A practical and specific laboratory test is described for the identification of P. aeruginosa isolated from clinical specimens. The test is based on the high concentration of cytochrome oxidase present in the cells of P. aeruginosa. Other bacilli with similar biochemical reactions were negative for cytochrome oxidase when tested by the method described. Keywords
