Abstract
A procedure for regioselective monoepoxidation of mainly the less substituted double bond of 1,3-dienes with sodium hypochlorite or iodosylbenzene using various metal complexes as catalysts is presented; the results obtained are different from those found when applying the usual epoxidation reagents. Keywords
