Abstract
The molecular weight distribution of anionically polymerized α‐methylstyrene has been measured by sedimentation velocity analysis. Molecular weight dependence of sedimentation constants and solution viscosities are reported. It is shown that the molecular weight distribution of poly‐α‐methylstyrene made by sodium complex is very narrow. Formation of a two‐peaked distribution polymer is reported; the data give support to the mechanism of double‐ended polymer propagation. Keywords
