Abstract
In a recent paper, Van Kranendonk has estimated the effect of lattice vibrations in contributing to the spin-lattice relaxation time due to quadrupole interaction in crystals with a simple cubic structure. In the present paper, his method is extended to the case of crystals with a body-centered cubic structure. Keywords
