Abstract
SUMMARY The author studied Torula bergeri isolated by Berger and his coworkers in Canada, and felt that there were no specific differences between this fungus, which produced chromoblastomycosis, and Phialophora jeanselmei, one causative agent of mycetomas. Therefore he considers Torula bergeri as synonymous with Phialophora jeanselmei. Keywords
